accessibility

seen/saw has been designed to be as accessible as possible.

Non-audio options are available for all performances.

Audio description is available for all performances.

Companions for accessibility purposes may attend free of charge (just indicate that you require an extra companion ticket on booking). It is strongly encouraged that anyone who has accessibility requirements brings a companion if they are uncomfortable navigating busy urban environments.

If you would like a companion but are unable to arrange someone, please get in contact. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Physical access: Brunswick Street has ramps at most crossings, but there are sections of uneven paving and slightly raised stones. seen/saw also involves a considerable amount of standing and walking. If you have physical accessibility requirements, please let us know on booking and we will provide details of the number of steps between seating places, a map of seating spots on the performance route, and ensure that your performance takes place on the most even available route.

Details of bathroom facilities are provided at the start of every session.

Please note that seen/saw is in surrounds that include traffic, loud noises, crowds, lights and strong smells. As it is in a public space, the piece cannot be presented with relaxed sessions.

A note from the author: Equitable access should be built into theatre. However, this is my first time trying to include accessible options as a basic part of every show. I am bound to get things wrong. Please be patient with me if you can, and please provide feedback so I can make things better.
